The more and more we live in this day and age, the more important the home becomes to our families. I am not speaking about houses - there is a vast difference between having a house and having a home. When Joshua stood up in the 24th chapter of the book that carries his name - he said - as for me and my house - we will serve the Lord. A surface study of the word “house” that Joshua used simply means fortress or temple.
Joshua understood the importance of what the home really was to his family. Yesterday my wife came home with another one of those decorated thingymajigs for our home. When I saw what was written on this my heart quickly resonated with its message. I thought it would be good to post a picture of this nifty little artifact my wife picked up. Check this out….
